Wayward Winery

Located in Waubra, just twenty minutes outside of Ballarat, our slice of paradise is situated on the side of the dormant volcano ‘Quoin Hill’ which allows for stunning sunsets over the Pyrenees Ranges as well as perfect conditions for growing our four varietals of grape, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay & Shiraz.

The recently renovated sixty five seat restaurant, gives our chefs Bailey & Jayden, a space to showcase local produce as well as produce grown on site. With an emphasis on cooking with fire, our chef’s use both an Argentinian grill and a large wood fired pizza oven to deliver their seasonal menus which boast dishes that are curated to reflect what is in season and available at the time.

Planning is in the final stages to develop accommodation in the form of multiple eco-friendly tiny homes, as well as offering the 1920’s homestead as a place to rest and recharge after exploring what the Victorian Pyrenees region has to offer.

Whether it’s a long lunch, your next function or a wedding amongst the vines, we look forward to welcoming everyone to Wayward Winery

Please note that we will be closed from the
